Partner with the GLCCN to support on-the-ground efforts to protect and enhance the Great Lakes ecosystem through the Community Partnership Program (CPP). This program initiates improvements and tracking of ecological health at a community level by pairing local innovative practices that improve water quality with an online ecological scorecard.

Initial funding was provided by the Great Lakes Protection Fund to support this work. Nine projects were selected in 2016 including floating wetlands, streambank restoration, slope stabilization, and installation of rain gardens and other green infrastructure.
